Poor sound mixing ruined Lynyrd Skynyrd concert
I took a group of friends to this concert, looking forward to it, and managed to get all 3rd row floor seats. Unfortunately, our excitement turned into disappointment. Loud as hell with poor sound mixing quality was what we experienced. For the first 1/3 of the concert, the bass guitar was overpowering everything else, making it challenging to enjoy. They did manage to tone down the bass eventually, but it was still too much. The concert was a cacophony of noise and feedback due to the poor mixing, making it difficult to appreciate the music. Despite my familiarity with their songs, the vocals were barely audible. The piano, a key element of New Constellations's music, was almost silent throughout the show, despite the visible effort of the pianist. Only during his solo parts could I just about make out the piano. The band put in a solid effort, playing hard and attempting to salvage the show, even with some mistakes and missed notes. It's clear that they need to improve their production quality after this disappointing performance. I remember seeing New Constellations in Biloxi 2-3 years ago, and they were phenomenal, which makes this show even more disappointing.
